Hello everyone,
I was invited to go to the Plus Size Event at Maurices in Hillsboro. I have been shopping at Maurices since I moved to the US. It is a welcoming store for young and mature women. When I lived in the Midwest, Maurices was a good option in our small town but now that I have lots of options I still choose to shop at Maurices because I know their clothes and I love their styles. One of the best parts is that even though I have gained weight over the years I can still find really cute clothes that make me feel good and I believe they can be very flattering.
The experience was amazing and since it was a special event, they had cupcakes, cookies and water. There was a Mary Kay consultant for those who chose to get a mini make over and the girls were all available to help us find the best looks for this spring. As I walked in I saw my two favorite colors all over the store which was a great start.
Yellow is the color for this spring I guess. Lots of buttercup yellow shirts, pants, sweatshirts, and even tennis shoes as you can see above. I scored several yellow pieces and I have to say I can’t wait to have nice weather so I can wear them.
The other color is the mint green, I am not sure I have made it very apparent in my blog that I love this color and that I have a lot of clothes in this color too. So today I scored a cute pair of mint green tennis shoes and the best part was that they were having a BOGO so I got the yellow ones and the mint green were half off.
The tops were all BOGO too so I will just say I had too much fun!
